Missing or overlapping dates

Two journeys that overlap in time are rejected. You cannot be in two places at once. Fix the clocks, split a stopover, or delete the duplicate.

If you arrive in one country and the next journey starts in another, the app flags a gap. Log the missing movement, or correct the endpoint countries if one of them is wrong.

Closed past gaps become unowned uncertain days in residency and travel summary. An open gap that leads into a future journey blocks those calculations until you fix it.

The Journeys table can show a gap next to the timeline. That detector uses display bookends. Residency uncertainty uses presence stamps. The two day counts can differ on multi-leg trips. Fill the missing hop either way.
