Expenses
Expenses are Pro-only. Every expense is tied to exactly one journey or one stay, never both, never neither. Deleting the parent deletes the expense with it.
Categories
Section titled “Categories”Journeys use ticket, addon, and upgrade. Stays use room, addon, and upgrade. Free-text categories are not accepted.
A journey can have several lines (ticket, bag, seat, upgrade). A stay can have room plus breakfast or a room upgrade. Each line is its own expense row.
Where to enter them
Section titled “Where to enter them”The usual path is the optional costs list on the journey or stay form, so you capture the trip and its price together. The Expenses page is a ledger for edit, move, and delete. You can move an expense to a different journey or stay. You cannot leave it without a parent.
MCP write tools on Pro can log, update, and delete expenses the same way.
