What TripLedger does
TripLedger is a personal travel ledger. You log journeys between places. The app counts how many days you spent in each country, then shows residency and Schengen totals from that record.
A journey is a movement from one place to another. Time in a city is calculated from those movements. You do not log “three weeks in Barcelona” as the source of truth. You log the trips that put you there and the trips that took you away.
The app at my.tripledger.app is the ledger. This help center explains how to use it. Legal terms and the privacy policy stay on tripledger.app.
What you can track
Section titled “What you can track”- Journeys, including multi-leg trips with airside connections
- Day counts for tax-residency presence and Schengen 90/180
- Stays, expenses, and extra travelers on Pro
- MCP access so an AI assistant can read the ledger (and write to it on Pro)
Residency and Schengen numbers come from journey country-presence stamps. Stays never add days. See Residency tracking and Stays.
Informational numbers, not advice
Section titled “Informational numbers, not advice”TripLedger counts the days in your ledger. It does not decide tax residence, visa status, or whether you may enter a country. Confirm official rules with a qualified advisor when those decisions matter.
